Sorry, my letter has to be quick!
Prophet? Isn't that money that you make in business?
Our people are doing pretty good this week! I think that the highlight teaching experience was teaching Zh*ng again. It was really great, especially since Elder Wu is fluent in Mandarin! that was so helpful. We taught Zh*ng some of the Baptismal interview questions. The goal was to utilize the questions ("Do you believe...." -God the Father, Son Jesus Christ, Gospel restored through prophet Joseph Smith, repentance (how to)) to be able to identify where Zh*ng needs the most help. The biggest problem, among other things, is that Zh*ng finds it difficult to remember English names. He remembers lots of details, but some he forgets. So we were able to help to solidify his understanding of the Gospel.
With translations for understanding, it was a smooth teaching experience. One thing that was funny, but a vital thing to understand, was when we asked him what he understood of the meaning of the word "Prophet". He replied something to the effect of "Isn't that money that you make in business?" Hahaha almost! He is good. We really hope that over the next few weeks we can prepare him for his baptismal date. I think the laughs made it my favorite teaching experience.
Our entire day was smashed
We had a Christmas conference yesterday. That was super fun! As Mortdale Zone Leaders, we were put in charge of setting up and taking down the chapel. So our entire day yesterday was smashed, all setting up chairs and tables in the morning before the conference, driving to the Punchbowl (bankstown) chapel for more tables with the mission van and trailer (which I had a lot of fun doing), taking it down after the conference ended at 6 pm, getting lost taking the trailer full of tables back to punchbowl, distributing packages all over the place in our zone (area-wise, it got 4 times as big). Phew! By the end of it, my poor companion said "I think I like being a district leader better" Bwahahaha!
Last week was really crazy for us, because we had Elder Bartholomew for a few days, had to get him to the mission office, and run errands to help get the trainers ready. So essentially, Tuesday, Wednesday, half of Friday, and Half of Saturday were smashed. On Saturday, we helped some of the missionaries in our zone to move flats, so that took ages! Super busy!
We just found out today that the Area President of the Pacific will be doing a mission tour in January, so we will be having zone conferences with him. That will be pretty cool! I have met him once before, and he is the man! Such a spiritual Giant!

Humble truth-seekers who desire to find Christ
Elder Wu is the man too! He only has 4 months to go on his mission, so he has a lot of valuable experience. Also, he is super funny. We are really excited to do some good work this week. We really want to find those that are prepared to receive the gospel. So hopefully with the Christmas season, we will be able to find those humble truth-seekers who desire to find Christ.
Love you guys heaps! And I will talk to you in like two days, so if you have any questions that I missed out on, you can ask me then:)
