He sounds terrific and very excited to be flying to Sydney to commence his mission labors. Elder Larsen departs LAX at 10:10 PM tonight (October 21) and arrives 15 hours later in Sydney Australia at 7:10 AM Wednesday (October 23). It is a long ride and he is hoping to get some sleep.
Elder Larsen had a fun experience on the flight from Salt Lake City to LAX. He sat next to a man originally from France, who now lives in Connecticut. The man is Catholic and said they wouldn't convert him, but he accepted a copy of the Book of Mormon.
We love Elder Jarrad Larsen and will be praying for him every day! Thank you all for your prayers too. Serving a mission brings wonderful joy, but it is still hard, especially in the face of rejection. So he can use any extra prayers!
